    Good practice guide

    at Chateau de Meillant

You would like to spend a day at the Château de Meillant.

We ask you to take note of this guide so that your activities can take place in complete peace of mind.

During the visit and the event :

    - Parents must supervise their children, as the site is surrounded by a moat.
    - Photography is only permitted outdoors.

    - Dogs are allowed on a lead in the park.

    - The park requires special maintenance. The lawns are protected areas and should be kept free from trampling. The same applies to all plant and animal species, which must be preserved.

    - Ashtrays are available at each seating area, so please do not wander the aisles with a lit cigarette. A fire only needs a small ember to start.

    Stewardship and practical information
    - Toilets: toilets and water are available at the ticket office on the ground floor.

    - Picnics: There are two picnic areas away from the visitor circuit.

    - Rubbish: Please dispose of rubbish in the containers provided. Black for food, yellow for packaging.
